DO YOU REALLY KNOW WHO JESUS IS, AND WHAT JESUS DID FOR YOU?
Jesus said to him,
"I Am the [only] Way [to God] and the [real] Truth and the [real] Life;
no one comes to the Father but through Me."
John 14:6
no one comes to the Father but through Me."
John 14:6
For
there is [only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and
mankind, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom [a
substitutionary sacrifice to atone] for all, the testimony given at the
right and proper time.
1 Timothy 2:5-6
1 Timothy 2:5-6
For
He whom God has sent speaks the words of God [proclaiming the Father's
own message]; for God gives the [gift of the] Spirit without measure
[generously and boundlessly]! The Father loves the Son and has given and
entrusted all things into His hand.
He
who believes and trusts in the Son and accepts Him [as Savior] has
eternal life [that is, already possesses it]; but he who does not
believe the Son and chooses to reject Him, [disobeying Him and denying
Him as Savior] will not see [eternal] life, but [instead] the wrath of
God hangs over him continually.
For
God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave
His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in
Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did
not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is,
to initiate the final judgment of the world], but that the world might
be saved through Him. Whoever believes and has decided to trust in Him
[as personal Savior and Lord] is not judged [for this one, there is no
judgment, no rejection, no condemnation]; but the one who does not
believe [and has decided to reject Him as personal Savior and Lord] is
judged already [that one has been convicted and sentenced], because he
has not believed and trusted in the name of the [One and] only begotten
Son of God [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, the
One who alone can save him].
John 3:16-18
John 3:16-18
For
it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to
Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and
given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of
yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved,
gracious] gift of God; not as a result of [your] works [nor your
attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or
take credit in any way [for his salvation].
Ephesians 2:8-9
Ephesians 2:8-9
For
out of His fullness [the superabundance of His grace and truth] we have
all received grace upon grace [spiritual blessing upon spiritual
blessing, favor upon favor, and gift heaped upon gift].
For the Law was given through Moses, but grace [the unearned, undeserved favor of God] and truth came through Jesus Christ.
But
to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right [the
authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those
who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name-
For
you [who are born-again have been reborn from above—spiritually
transformed, renewed, sanctified and] are all children of God [set apart
for His purpose with full rights and privileges] through faith in
Christ Jesus.
Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.
John 1:12; Galatians 3:26; Ephesians 5:1
John 1:12; Galatians 3:26; Ephesians 5:1
In
Him, you also, when you heard the word of truth, the good news of your
salvation, and [as a result] believed in Him, were stamped with the seal
of the promised Holy Spirit [the One promised by Christ] as owned and
protected [by God].
The
Spirit is the guarantee [the first installment, the pledge, a
foretaste] of our inheritance until the redemption of God's own
[purchased] possession [His believers], to the praise of His glory.
In fact under the Law almost everything is cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness [neither release from sin and its guilt, nor cancellation of the merited punishment].
He [Jesus Christ] went once for all into the Holy Place [the Holy of Holies of heaven, into the presence of God], and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, having obtained and secured eternal redemption [that is, the salvation of all who personally believe in Him as Savior]. For if the sprinkling of [ceremonially] defiled persons with the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a [burnt] heifer is sufficient for the cleansing of the body, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal [Holy] Spirit willingly offered Himself unblemished [that is, without moral or spiritual imperfection as a sacrifice] to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works and lifeless observances to serve the ever living God?

For this reason He [Jesus Christ] is the Mediator and Negotiator of a new covenant [that is, an entirely new agreement uniting God and man], so that those who have been called [by God] may receive [the fulfillment of] the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has taken place [as the payment] which redeems them from the sins committed under the obsolete first covenant.
For you know that you were not redeemed from your useless [spiritually unproductive] way of life inherited [by tradition] from your forefathers with perishable things like silver and gold, but [you were actually purchased] with precious blood, like that of a [sacrificial] lamb unblemished and spotless, the priceless blood of Christ.
Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
The Father loves the Son and has given and entrusted all things into His [Jesus'] hand.
All things have been handed over to Me [Jesus the Son] by My Father; and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Son except the Father; and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son [deliberately] wills to reveal Him.
Just as You [God the Father] have given Him [God the Son - Jesus] power and authority over all mankind, [now glorify Him] so that He may give eternal life to all whom You have given Him [to be His—permanently and forever].
which He [God the Father] produced in Christ when He raised Him [Jesus Christ] from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion [whether angelic or human], and [far above] every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and world but also in the one to come.
Matthew 28:18, John 3:35, Matthew 11:27, John 17:2, Ephesians 1:20–21

And when He [the Lamb - Jesus Christ] had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb (Christ), each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of fragrant incense, which are the prayers of the saints (God’s people). And they sang a new song [of glorious redemption], saying,
“Worthy and deserving are You [Jesus Christ] to take the scroll and to break its seals; for You were slain (sacrificed), and with Your blood You purchased people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them [born-again Holy Spirit filled people in Jesus] to be a kingdom [of royal subjects] and priests to our God; and they will reign on the earth.”
Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne and [the voice] of the living creatures and the elders; and they numbered myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands (innumerable), saying in a loud voice,
“Worthy and deserving is the Lamb [Jesus Christ] that was sacrificed to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.”
And I heard every created thing that is in heaven or on earth or under the earth [in Hades, the realm of the dead] or on the sea, and everything that is in them, saying [together],
“To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb (Christ), be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.”
And the four living creatures said, “Amen!” and the elders fell down and worshiped.
Revelation 5:8-14

Now
brothers and sisters, let me remind you [once again] of the good news
[of salvation] which I preached to you, which you welcomed and accepted
and on which you stand [by faith]. By this faith you are saved [reborn
from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His
purpose], if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless
you believed in vain [just superficially and without complete
commitment].
For I passed on to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to [that which] the Scriptures [foretold], and that He was buried, and that He was [bodily] raised on the third day according to [that which] the Scriptures [foretold],
1 Corinthians 15:1-4
For I passed on to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to [that which] the Scriptures [foretold], and that He was buried, and that He was [bodily] raised on the third day according to [that which] the Scriptures [foretold],
1 Corinthians 15:1-4
As it is written and forever remains written,
“There is none righteous [none that meets God’s standard], not even one."
Romans 3:10
“There is none righteous [none that meets God’s standard], not even one."
Romans 3:10
But now the righteousness of God has been clearly revealed [independently and completely] apart from the Law, though it is [actually] confirmed by the Law and the [words and writings of the] Prophets. This righteousness of God comes through faith in Jesus Christ for all those [Jew or Gentile] who believe [and trust in Him and acknowledge Him as God’s Son]. There is no distinction, since all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God, and are being justified [declared free of the guilt of sin, made acceptable to God, and granted eternal life] as a gift by His [precious, undeserved] grace, through the redemption [the payment for our sin] which is [provided] in Christ Jesus, whom God displayed publicly [before the eyes of the world] as a [life-giving] sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation (propitiation) by His blood [to be received] through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness [which demands punishment for sin], because in His forbearance [His deliberate restraint] He passed over the sins previously committed [before Jesus’ crucifixion].
Romans 3:21-25
Romans 3:21-25
For all who depend on the Law [seeking justification and salvation by obedience to the Law and the observance of rituals] are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed (condemned to destruction) is everyone who does not abide by all things written in the book of the law, so as to practice them.” Now it is clear that no one is justified [that is, declared free of the guilt of sin and its penalty, and placed in right standing] before God by the Law, for “The righteous (the just, the upright) shall live by faith.” But the Law does not rest on or require faith [it has nothing to do with faith], but [instead, the Law] says, “He who practices them [the things prescribed by the Law] shall live by them [instead of faith].”
Galatians 3:10-12
Galatians 3:10-12
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God [that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers] is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23
Romans 6:23
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word [the message, the basis] of faith which we preach— because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation.
Romans 10:8-10
Romans 10:8-10
For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord [in prayer] will be saved.”
Romans 10:13
Romans 10:13
Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true [supreme and sovereign] God, and [in the same manner know] Jesus [as the] Christ whom You have sent.
John 17:3
John 17:3
I [Jesus Christ] assure you and most solemnly say to you, the person who hears My word [the one who heeds My message], and believes and trusts in Him who sent Me, has (possesses now) eternal life [that is, eternal life actually begins—the believer is transformed], and does not come into judgment and condemnation, but has passed [over] from death into life.
John 5:24
John 5:24
And the testimony is this: God has given us eternal life [we already possess it], and this life is in His Son [resulting in our spiritual completeness, and eternal companionship with Him]. He who has the Son [by accepting Him as Lord and Savior] has the life [that is eternal]; he who does not have the Son of God [by personal faith] does not have the life.
1 John 5:11-12
1 John 5:11-12
But to as many as did receive and welcome Him [Jesus], He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His [Jesus'] name— who were born, not of blood [natural conception], nor of the will of the flesh [physical impulse], nor of the will of man [that of a natural father], but of God [that is, a divine and supernatural birth—they are born of God—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified].
John 1:12-13
John 1:12-13
The sheep that are My [Jesus] own hear My voice and listen to Me; I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they will never, ever [by any means] perish; and no one will ever snatch them out of My hand.
John 10:27-28
John 10:27-28
For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39
Romans 8:38-39
but
these have been written so that you may believe [with a deep, abiding
trust] that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed), the Son of
God; and that by believing [and trusting in and relying on Him] you may
have life in His name.

JESUS FULFILLED NUMEROUS BIBLICAL OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECIES ABOUT HIMSELF
The events associated with the birth, life, suffering, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ fulfilled many Biblical Old Testament prophecies about Jesus.
A Biblical Old Testament prophet named Isaiah foretold of Jesus' birth by a virgin woman more than 700 years before Jesus was born. God revealed this to Isaiah.
God had sworn an oath to King David that God Himself would raise up David's descendant/offspring/seed to establish an eternal-forever kingdom. This specific descendant of David that God is ultimately referring to is Jesus the Messiah. Mary (the biological mother of Jesus) and Joseph (the supposed father of Jesus) were both descendants of King David. God (the Father) will establish Jesus (God the Son) in God's House-Kingdom forever. Jesus' literal Throne will be eternal when Jesus physically returns to earth again to reign & rule.
The numerous prophetic events that were perfectly fulfilled during Jesus' life on earth were not lucky guesses or predictions made by people; they were precise future events that were foretold by the All-Knowing God of the Bible, Who repeatedly demonstrates that He has perfect knowledge of all past, present, and future events. Consequently, we can be completely confident that the God of the Bible will always fulfill His promises written in the Bible. Therefore, all upcoming/future events that God has foretold in the Bible will certainly come to pass.
The Book of Revelation (the last Book of the New Testament in the Bible) was written between 90-95 A.D. It describes the end-times (tribulation) leading up to the 2nd coming/return of Jesus Christ to earth, as well as the ushering in of a future new earth and new heavens. See also Daniel 9:20-27, Matthew 24:1-51, Matthew 25:1-46, Mark 13:1-37
The rapture/harpazo (caught up, snatching away, sudden transport) of specific humans from earth into heaven is a Biblical Event that will occur before the end-times (tribulation). All children (before reaching the age of intellectual or moral accountability to Jesus) and all Holy Spirit filled born-again followers of Jesus (both living & dead) will be the only ones caught up in the clouds (to meet Jesus in the air) during this instantaneous Biblical Event. The rapture/harpazo is not an alien abduction. Many powerful lies/deceptions will indeed occur before & during the end-times (tribulation).
